Beauty of Love
ARATRIKA NAITHANI
Oh yes, they met that day,
When the clouds kissed heaven,
When the rainbow smiled over the tree.
The earth seems the happiest.
For two strangers went on becoming family.
The nature somehow chosen it’s brightest.
One white while the other was black.
Both depicting their different worlds.
Contradicting yet complimenting
While she went on rejoicing
The guy chose to be a clock
Who knew they would meet again?
Standing on the same path.
They would share their destiny too.
And not only glances, they exchanged their wrath.
Time had its way
He was her best friend
So was she, fearing someday it would end.
Both chose to hide.
But destiny had something else to decide
Cupid played its role.
For thoughts had matched their souls
When love started to reside.
None and not even they themselves could divide.
Love was never their cup of tea
But in each other’s presence.
Eyes spoke, what they could never see
While one knew it was love
The other remained unknown at all.
But soon feelings were exchanged just over a phone
call
Yes, the girl was me and the man was him.
Yes, he sparkled the brightest when the world seemed
too dim.
Yes, this was our story
Yes, this is our love.
Yes, this our little share beauty.
