Communal Politics

Kyu mera desh yuh neelam kar rhe ho,
Kyu ek sajda badnaam kar rhe ho,
Kyu har mehfil badnaam kar rhe ho.
India is the largest democracy, a nation which is the
secular capital of the Globe, with majorly nine religions according the census
report, but there are more than 200 religions which are followed in India.
India is the home of different faiths, religions, castes and social classes.
India is now the hub of communal politics, where, our prominent political leaders
use religion as a mere tool in order to gain or re-gain the political power.
The holy land of India is now the hub of unholy vote bank politics.
Our countrymen tend to manipulate the innocent masses
and create communal hatred for their selfish interest. What else can we expect
out of a man who turned a blind eye towards the Muslims, when they were reduced
to dust, the man who joined RSS at the age of 8 and became a
full-time member of RSS in 1970-71. From such a tender age he was
associated with such an association that spread communal hatred and is after
the lives of people from one particular religion of the society.
During the times of deadly crisis faced by the whole
world, we are here fighting over religions and beliefs. Neither am I taking any
side nor in my blog, I would extend a hand for the support any unjust or
ethically wrong practices, but I stand against the communal hatred which is
spread under the name of dirty politics. During the times when our nation should
have been standing together, like a wall, and fight against the virus, we are
fighting amongst each other, blaming people from one religion of the society.
India remains secular only in the books of history
now, as I am not able to see any acceptance or love amongst the people of
different religions. Day-by-day the numbers of lynching cases are increasing,
honor killing and caste system stands strong in the society as our secularity
and equality stands in the books of history.
I’m born to hindu parents and over a time I understood
the gravity of religion and faith, so here I’m accepting myself as an agnostic,
I have my own reasons to not believe in religion but do rely on the fact that
there is a supreme power that governs the world.
Being the educated sector of the society, we shouldn’t
be blinded by the people who tried to break our unity and mind wash us. We
should stand tall and strong in front of such people, who tend to push-in riots
to fulfill their vote banks and sell our religion. Religion was the base of
creating equality and oneness not to create hatred.
